Become a SICL Speaker

Share your expertise with lifelong learners!

SICL offers a Speaker Series as a service to our community, which is free and open to the public. This series, with a different speaker each week, is typically held on the first four Fridays in September during the fall term and on the first four Fridays in March for the spring term. The Speaker Series will be held online, on Zoom. The presentations begin at 3 p.m., and typically last about one hour or so, with time afterward for Q & A’s. Speakers are encouraged to invite their friends, neighbors, and colleagues to attend.

SICL is seeking new Speakers who would like to share their interesting presentations. SICL’s Speaker Series strives to stimulate the minds, in an enjoyable way, for our active senior members as well as our community. Our Board, instructors, and speakers are all volunteers, so we appreciate your time and contribution to our program!

• Fall speaker proposals should be submitted by early April.
• Spring speaker proposals should be submitted by early October.
